Bought the game last January 10, curious why it's popular. I was HOOKED! In no time, I've installed the "Livin' Large", "House Party", "Hot Date", "Vacation", and "Unleashed" expansion packs.
Hot Date and Vacation gives your SIM a place to go outside of the neighborhood. Unleased creates community lots in the neighborhood. I guess Livin Large, House Party and Hot Date are the most useful to me. A sim going on Vacation isn't necessarily rested by the time it goes back to the neighborhood. The pets in Unleashed, though at first cute, get to be irritating in the long run.
